Library
The library has a collection of more than eihgty thousand titles, around 1500 scientific magazines in print, classified by topic and available for consulting in our own bibliographic databases, as well as in EBSCO, one of the most complete on-line databases.

Engineering, Technology and Development: ITD
It is a Piuran undertaking devoted towards the provision of adequate technological support for integral solutions in the field of business, contributing –with social and environmental responsibility -, to the development of enterprises and institutions in Piura. It has the complete academic support of the Universidad de Piura.

Language Center
Since 1993 the Universidad de Piura offers its students, alumni, and the general public the services of its Language Center. It has Peruvian and foreign teachers all trained for the teaching of English,  French, German, Italian and Japanese. It is also an authorized Center to administer the following examinations from the University of Cambridge: KET (Key English Test), PET (Preliminary English Test), FCE (First Certificate in English), CAE (Certificate in Advance English), CPE (Certificate of Proficency in English).

Access to Internet and Intranet
Universidad de Piura offers its students and alumni free access to Internet in its computer rooms, all of which are adequately equipped to condut academic activities. These centers count with the informative guidance of professionals graduated from the University’s Superior Technological School. It also provides services for the conduction of extension courses.

Polyclinic
The Universidad de Piura’s Polyclinic cares for the health of the university community by receiving patients in its general clinic and pediatric consultories, within the established timetable, to students, professors, workers, and alumni from the University, and to their direct relatives.

Accomodation
Study of university students who come from different cities within the country calls for an adequate environment. With this in mind Universidad de Piura has two centers and university residences. Altozano, for female students and Tangará, for male students. In these centers, residents benefit from a familiar atmosphere, personalised guidance with their studies, spiritual and humanistic education and may take part in sport and community service activities.

Free Juridical Consultory
The Free Juridical Consultory started working three years ago, in "Los Algarrobos" (district situated in the outskirts of the city), giving legal services to the most needed people in Piura and its surrounding areas.
